How to Use RailSeat Finder BD

Welcome to RailSeat Finder BD, your real-time Bangladesh Railway train seat availability tracker, auto-monitor, and instant booking assistant. This guide covers all user features, alert modes, and mobile Telegram integration.

1 Getting Started & Sign In

  • 1-Click Google Sign-In: Click Sign In in the top-right navigation bar and select "Continue with Google" for instant 1-click access.
  • Username / Email Sign-In: You can also sign in with your registered username/email and password.
  • Account Self-Registration: Switch to the "Create Account" tab, enter your Full Name, Email, Username, and Password. A verification link will be sent to your inbox. Click the verification link to activate your email.

2 Finding Train Seat Availability

  1. From Station: Type your departure station (e.g. Dhaka). Autocomplete suggestions will appear as you type.
  2. Swap Button (⇄): Click the swap icon to instantly reverse your origin and destination.
  3. Destination Station: Type your target station (e.g. Chattogram or Cox's Bazar).
  4. Date of Journey: Pick your travel date (up to 10 days in advance).
  5. Quick Date Chips: Click chips like Today, Tomorrow, Fri for 1-click date selection.
  6. Popular Route Strip: Click on quick routes (e.g., Dhaka ➔ Cox's Bazar) for instant pre-filled searches.
  7. Click "Find Trains" to query live seat availability.
💡 Dynamic Train Filter: When you select a specific train from the Train (Optional) dropdown, dynamic counters immediately calculate the Total Available Seats and Total Running Trains for that specific selection.

Complete cards with departure/arrival times, travel duration, fares per class, online vs counter seat availability, and 1-click Book buttons.

High-density spreadsheet-style table comparing all running trains and seat availability side-by-side.

📅 10-Day Availability Matrix

Multi-day heatmap showing seat availability across all 10 upcoming days simultaneously.

🗺️ Stoppage & Route Schedule

Click View Route / Stops on any train card to inspect its full intermediate stoppage timings and station schedule.

4 Live Auto-Monitoring & Countdown Ticker

For high-demand routes where seats drop frequently due to cancellations:

  • Polling Intervals: Select Monitor: 15s, 30s, or 60s from the Tracker Bar dropdown.
  • Live Countdown Bar: An animated ticker indicates the exact seconds remaining until the next live scan.
  • Pause / Resume (⏸ / ▶): Temporarily freeze auto-refreshing at any time.

6 Active Seat Watchlist Radar & Telegram Alerts

Set custom alert targets to receive instant mobile phone notifications via Telegram:

  1. Click the "Watch" (🎯) button on any train card in search results.
  2. Select your desired seat class (or Any Class) and minimum seats required (e.g. ≥ 1 Seat, ≥ 2 Seats, ≥ 4 Seats).
  3. Connect your Telegram Chat ID in the Watchlist Radar modal to receive mobile alerts even when your computer or browser is closed.

7 Sharing & Exporting Availability

  • WhatsApp 1-Click Share: Click Share on the tracker bar and choose WhatsApp to share clean formatted seat summaries with family or travel companions.
  • Copy Summary: Copy a formatted table of all running trains and available seats to your clipboard.

8 Appearance, Sound Previews & Settings

Open ⚙️ Settings in the top navigation bar to:

  • Toggle between Dark Theme and Light Theme.
  • Enable or mute Audio Chimes.
  • Test and preview alert tones using the Normal Seat, Sold Out ➔ Released, and Radar Alarm preview buttons.

Q: How do I book tickets?

A: Click the "Book" button on any train card or notification to open Bangladesh Railway's official booking checkout portal with your train and seat class pre-selected.

Q: Will I get Telegram alerts when my browser is closed?

A: Yes! Once you set targets in the Watchlist Radar with your Telegram Chat ID, alerts are delivered straight to your Telegram app.
